Mixed Media Butterfly Pt. 1

This super-girly painting was a really cool commission that I was super honored to work on. A soon-to-be-grandma had reached out to me and told me she wanted two paintings, one for her house, and one for the nursery. She said she wanted a butterfly, but gave me creative freedom with the rest. I loved the idea of matching paintings, but I couldn’t figure out what style I wanted to paint them in. So I decided- why not a little bit of everything? I had so much fun adding all of these elements to the canvases.
